Student Exchange Program

The Rotary Club of Media has the oldest and strongest student exchange program in Rotary District 7450. Started in 1955 when two Rotarians – Fred Tanger and John Barrall, both local school officials – helped students from Austria to visit homes in the Media area. One of these students Leopold Ulrich, lived with the Walter Strine, Sr. family, the same family which now supports the Club’s program through the Walter Strine Foundation.
