Media Rotary recently held its twice-annual cleanup of Manchester Park, bringing together Rotarians, families, and community members for a morning of service and stewardship in one of Media’s most cherished green spaces.

The park’s continued beauty and accessibility are supported in part by the Media Rotary Club’s biannual cleanups, which help keep the grounds safe, welcoming, and well cared for throughout the year.

Volunteers of all ages pitched in—raking leaves, clearing garden beds, and tidying paths—while children joined the effort with enthusiasm, learning the value of community service by example. The event reflected Rotary’s mission of “Service Above Self,” a guiding principle of Rotary International, a global network of neighbors, friends, and leaders dedicated to improving communities locally and around the world.

Through projects like the Manchester Park cleanup, the Media Rotary Club continues its long tradition of making a positive impact close to home, strengthening community connections while caring for the shared spaces that bring people together.
