The Rotary Club of Media welcomed two Penncrest High School students, Felix Gusil and Eva Chen, as their students of the month for February.
Felix is an 11th-grade student who is a member of the National Honor Society, and the World Language, Math and Science honor societies. He is captain of the Science Olympiad, won first place in the Rose Tree Media world language contest for level one Chinese in 2022 and third place for level three Spanish in 2023, and twice has achieved the Academic Excellence Award. He is on the varsity soccer team. Felix volunteers at the Media Food Bank, and as a referee and camp counselor for youth soccer.

Eva Chen is a senior who has been on the distinguished honor roll all four years. She is a member of the English, World Language, Math and Social Studies honor societies. Eva has won the Penncrest Academic Excellence award, was a Mandarin Chinese district contest winner, and three-time semi-finalist in the Delco HiQ contest. She also was a two-time state qualifier for Future Business Leaders of America. She has several leadership roles in Penncrest clubs, volunteers in school and community events, is a camp counselor and participates in business events and competitions. She plans to attend New York University and major in management and organizations and finance.
