The Rotary Club of Media welcomed two Penncrest High School students, Lizzie Allen and Maggie Allison as their students of the month for May.
Ms. Allen is a junior at Penncrest who was the student director for the 2022 winter play , co-stage manager for the 2023 musical, an actor in the Children’s Theater and the Readers Theater Director and actor for 2021 and 2022. She is a member of the National Honor Society, The History, Science, Math and World Language Honor Societies and the International Thespian Society. She is a Girl Scout Ambassador and has achieved the Girl Scout bronze and silver awards. She is a volunteer on the Media Recreation Board and is the Class of 2024 Historian.
Ms. Allison is a twelfth grade student at Penncrest and is a member of the National Honor Society, and the World Language, Math and Science Honor societies. She is a four year starter on the varsity soccer team, and on the varsity softball team as a middle infielder. She is a member of the Nether United 1776 Club soccer team and has been awarded the Penncrest Academic Excellence Award in both her sophomore and junior years. She will be attending the University of Tennessee and plans to major in biology with future plans to be a dentist.
