The Rotary Club of Media, combined with several sister clubs, recently completed the building of a water tank for a school in Mityana, Uganda.   The project, spearheaded by the Rotary Club of Whitehorse, NJ.  The Mityana Rotary Club worked with the county coordinator of Friendly Water for the World.  The tank was built by local men and youth, using a bio-sand filter to provide 20,000 litres of safe, clean drinking water for all the children in the school.  The cost was $2500 for the tank.
