The Rotary Club of Media recently awarded a Paul Harris Fellow to member Jim Resinger. The Paul Harris Fellow is awarded to Rotarians who have made a donation of at least $1000 to the Rotary Foundation.

The Rotary Foundation is the charitable arm of Rotary International. It uses the donations of Rotarians like Mr. Resinger to provide global and domestic grants for its priorities of Promoting Peace, Fighting Disease, Providing Clean Water, Saving Mothers and Children, Supporting Education and Growing Local Economies. It is in the top five charities as rated by Charity Navigator, an organization that rates charities on financial health, accountability and transparency of reporting.

If you would like to know more about Rotary, visit the Media club at one of its Thursday meeting, 12:15 p.m. at DiFabio’s on Providence Road, or visit its website www.mediarotary.org

The Four-Way Test

Of the things we think, say or do:
  1. Is it the TRUTH?
  2. Is it FAIR to all concerned?
  3. Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS?
  4. Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?
